Conclusions

  • Childhood outcomes from 4-17 years (median of 4 years) were comparable in biologic exposed and unexposed infants
  • No dominant pattern for congenital malformations, developmental milestones or chronic diseases in infants with drug exposure
  • No incidence of malignancy or mortality
  • Breastfeeding not associated with infections
  • No association between drug exposure and rates of infection
  • Preterm birth linked to higher infection rates
